Before I say anything about abortion, I want you to know where this is coming from: the heart of a pastor. I know this isn’t just an issue to debate. It’s a deeply personal story for many people. Researchers estimate that about one in four American women will have an abortion in her lifetime. That means some of the women who sit in our services each Sunday carry this in their past, and some of the men carry it too. I’ve seen the grief, the regret, the secrecy, and the quiet devastation it can leave behind long after the moment has passed.

Stop judging me!

Well, let’s read 2 Corinthians 5:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. There it is! You are called to ministry.
Confronting the SPIRIT of this Age
I have this growing concern for the church. It’s been a concern of mine for years, but it continues to intensify. And my concern is that the spirit of this age has crept into the church and has been slowly leading people away from truth. This spirit is sneaky. This spirit is deceptive. And this spirit has been using half-truths and seemingly biblical ideas to deceive many.
Called to Ministry? Be sure you count the cost.
Before you jump into the ministry, you should know the cost and you have to be willing to pay that cost. Ministry can look flashy and fun when all you see are the lights, the stage, and the social media posts. But ministry is tough. Ministry is costly.
Cancel the Cancel Culture
Here’s my issue with the cancel culture… it’s in complete opposition to Jesus and how He asks us to live. Cancel Culture wants to cancel you by holding on to and exposing your past. Jesus wants to hold on to you while canceling your past and making you new.
Wisdom When You're Stuck

The Key to Growth
Have you ever met someone that was just full of themselves? Scripture would call this pride. It’s such a turn-off. Prideful people have this repellant factor to them. You just don’t want to be around them. In contrast, have you ever met someone who was humble? How refreshing!

I learned something unexpected last year. Don’t worry- this blog isn’t about health and fitness (although it can help you in that area). I learned that if I want to achieve a goal, I need to look no further than the pattern I live by. By changing the pattern of my life, I met my goals. Like Adam, I can just about guarantee your results. We just have to find the right pattern to help you hit your goals!
Abortion: It's more simple than we make it
Imagine a law that allows Americans to kill other Americans. This law makes murder acceptable to the public, defended by many, and celebrated as morally good. Now imagine this law actively leads to the death of 600,000+ Americans per year. This is no fictional story, this is abortion.
