Yes. I know that's not a popular answer, so let me explain why I can't give you a different one.
Jesus said it Himself: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 ESV). Peter said it again after the resurrection: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 ESV). That's not me being narrow. That's me repeating what Jesus said.
You might be thinking, "Isn't it arrogant to say your way is the only way?" It would be, if Christianity were a list of rules I came up with. But think about it this way. If there were another road to God, then why did Jesus die? Paul puts it bluntly: "If keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die" (Galatians 2:21 NLT). Nobody sends their son to be tortured to death if there's another option. The cross is God saying, "This is what it took."
And here's the thing: every other way to God is really some version of "try harder." Be good enough. Do enough good things. Christianity is the only one that says you can't, and you don't have to. "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it" (Ephesians 2:8–9 NLT). One way sounds narrow until you realize it's the only way that's open to everyone.
This matters because a lot of people who call themselves Christians don't believe it. In one national study, 66% of self-identified Christians said having faith matters more than which faith you pursue, and 58% said a good enough person can earn their way into heaven. That sounds kind. It's not. If good people go to heaven, then none of us are going, because there aren't any. "None is righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10 ESV).
Culture says, "Speak your truth." Jesus says, "I am the truth." Truth, by its nature, draws a line. There's your experience and my experience, but there isn't your truth and my truth. There's just the truth.
So yes, Jesus is the only way. But He's also an open door. You don't have to clean up, earn it or prove yourself. You just have to come through Him.
